Hi there!

I’m so happy you’re here!

A woman with curly hair, wearing a brown dress with white ruffles, is standing on a dry, desert-like landscape and holding a camera, smiling.
A person lying on the ground on a rural dirt road, wearing a floral dress and white cowboy boots, with two Canon cameras placed beside them.

I’m McKenna, a documentary style wedding and elopement photographer for couples who care about how memories feel. I’m drawn to real connection, unplanned moments, and the quiet in-between moments you don’t notice until they’re gone.

Whether you’re exchanging vows on a mountaintop or celebrating close to home, I’m there to document your story honestly, intentionally, and without interruption.

You don’t need to know how to pose or follow a perfect timeline.
You don’t need to worry about missing moments or getting it “right.”

My approach is documentary at heart. It’s focused on presence, connection, and letting your day unfold naturally. I step in when needed, step back when it matters, and create space for you to live your day fully.

This is photography for couples who value how it felt just as much as how it looked.

FOR COUPLES WHO WANT TO EXPERIENCE THEIR WEDDING, NOT PERFORM IT

A couple in wedding attire holding hands in a mountain landscape during the daytime.
A couple stands close together in a greenhouse, surrounded by various plants and flowers, leaning in for a gentle, intimate moment.
A black and white photo of a bride and groom holding hands, walking outdoors on a grassy field at dusk, with a moon in the sky and trees in the background.
A couple sitting on a park bench, with a woman leaning over a man with a beard, smiling, in a garden setting with lush bushes and trees, under a wooden archway with a hanging lantern, in black and white.

Presence over perfection.

A couple dancing outdoors on a field during sunset, black and white photograph.
A black and white photo of a couple kissing outside a cafe, sitting at a small round table with ornate chairs. The woman is standing, leaning over the table, while the man is seated, holding her hands.

Guidance when it matters.

Space to be yourselves.

More than photographs. An experience, wherever you are.

When the day is over, what stays with you isn’t just how it looked, but how it felt. The quiet moments, the laughter, the in-between.

My role goes far beyond documenting moments. I’m there to help your day feel unhurried and true to you, whether you’re celebrating close to home or exchanging vows somewhere far from familiar. With a documentary approach and a calm, guiding presence, I create space for your story to unfold naturally.

This is photography for couples who want to be present in their story, not pulled out of it.

If this sounds like you, I’d love to hear your story.

EXPERIENCES:

McKenna is such a gem, I am so happy so we found her for our wedding. McKenna truly let us be us on our wedding day. We gave her very minimal time after the ceremony to get photos because we wanted to attend cocktail hour and she delivered! She was truly like a fly on the wall capturing everything. Even after just seeing our sneak peeks, we could not be happier. Book her while you can!!

I was going to wait to leave a review until after the wedding, but we just had our engagement photo shoot with McKenna and I couldn’t wait to leave a review. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. She is talented, knowledgeable and so flexible. She was able to help us with poses, take advantage of the scenery, and also ensured that I got all the photos I wanted. She made it so easy and fun. Our photos truly capture our love and relationship and I CANNOT WAIT for wedding day (I’ll leave another review after that too!. I would recommend her over and over and over again.
